Indie Rights picks up award winning sci-fi film First Signal

At the time of this announcement First Signal has been an official selection of twenty-seven film festivals, winning sixteen including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Actress. "Indie Rights is very excited about releasing this fascinating look at the possibility that aliens have been living among us for quite some time. We all ponder the possibility, but this is a movie that really helps us to imagine the plausibility of such a concept," said Nelson. The idea behind First Signal began over ten years ago when Lund wrote the screenplay First World. The origins of that story revolve around the Apollo space program. With NASA and private space contractors planning a return to the Moon, extrasolar planets being discovered on a regular basis and new communication technologies on the horizon, the timing for First Signal could not be better. First Signal doesn't seek to answer the question if we are alone in the universe, but what would the world do if an alien presence was already here. The sequel to First Signal will be First Launch.

First Signal is scheduled for release in the 2^nd quarter of 2021.
