COLUMBIA, Mo. - EntSun -- COLUMBIA, Missouri — October 20, 2026 — Rebellion Entertainment Group, an independent publishing and streaming company based in Columbia, Missouri, today announced its official launch, introducing two original franchise properties: the FREEBIRD animation novella series and the Modern Day Cowboy novel series.
Founded by Columbia native Darrin S. Walker, Rebellion Entertainment Group develops patriotic, pro-freedom entertainment across books, animation, film, and streaming. Walker is the author and creator of both flagship franchises and leads the company as founder and CEO.
The company's FREEBIRD series follows Sgt. HotRod Freebird, an American soldier, in an action-driven animated novella saga. The Modern Day Cowboy series centers on an American soldier hero whose journey is summed up in the series tagline, "The road is his legacy."
Rebellion Entertainment Group is also home to the Rebellion Army, its fan and community brand, united under the banner "Breaking the Chains that Bound Freedom."
