Greenlight Computers moves to Manchester Incubator Building at The University of Manchester

GREATER MANCHESTER, U.K. - EntSun -- Greenlight Computers, the Manchester-based managed IT and cybersecurity provider, is relocating to the Manchester Incubator Building (MIB), part of The University of Manchester's innovation campus at 48 Grafton Street, Manchester, M13 9XX.

The move is a deliberate strategic step rather than a scaling decision. Greenlight is not expanding headcount or footprint but repositioning itself inside one of Manchester's key innovation environments. The Incubator Building sits within the University's wider £1.7 billion, 15-year regeneration of the former North Campus into a global innovation district and is home to organisations including Epistem and the University of Manchester Innovation Factory.

Being based on site gives Greenlight closer, more regular contact with the University's Innovation team, and puts the company alongside a concentration of technology and research-led businesses that reflect the kind of clients it already supports. Several existing and prospective clients, including organisations working directly with the University's Innovation Factory, are based in the same building or the wider campus, so the move also brings the team physically closer to the people it works with day to day.

The relocation has been planned as a phased transition rather than a single cutover. Greenlight will retain its current office at 45 Spring Gardens until 18 November, allowing the two sites to run in parallel while systems, access and day-to-day logistics are bedded in at the Manchester Incubator Building, with the aim of moving in around 1 September. The intention throughout is a controlled handover with no interruption to client service.

The new office also keeps Greenlight close to Manchester city centre, with the Incubator Building well served by Oxford Road and Piccadilly stations and a number of city and campus bus routes, keeping the office easy to reach for staff, clients and visitors alike.
