Glympse Job Finder Launches, Bringing a More Personal Approach to Job Matching

IRVINE, Calif. - EntSun -- Glympse Job Finder, a new employment platform headquartered in Orange County, California, has launched with a different approach to connecting employers and job seekers: giving employers more than a résumé to evaluate potential candidates.

Founded by Ron Williams, Glympse Job Finder is designed to bring job seekers and employers together through a mobile-first platform where candidates can showcase their experience, skills and personality through a candidate portfolio and video, while employers can search for candidates and manage job opportunities.

Traditional job applications often reduce a person to a résumé and a handful of application fields. Glympse is designed to give employers a more complete first impression before deciding whom to contact.

"A résumé tells you what someone has done. It doesn't always tell you who they are or what they could bring to a company," said Ron Williams, founder of Glympse Job Finder. "We wanted to create a platform where candidates have the opportunity to present themselves more completely and where employers can get a better sense of the person behind the résumé."

Glympse Job Finder provides job seekers with tools to create a professional presence, discover employment opportunities, apply for positions, upload their résumé and other information, and track their applications.

For employers, the platform provides job posting, candidate search, applicant management and communication tools.

The platform is initially focused on the hospitality industry, while also being designed to support employers and job seekers across other industries.

More than a résumé

A central feature of Glympse is the ability for candidates to build a portfolio that can include video.

The goal is to provide employers with additional context about candidates beyond the traditional résumé and application, while giving job seekers another way to communicate their experience and professional identity.

Glympse offers employers a free plan as well as paid recruiting plans designed for businesses with different hiring needs.
