Fort Smith Graduate Goes Viral with Stunning Acoustic Covers

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - EntSun -- Gavin O'Hara, a Fort Smith native and current freshman at the University of Arkansas, is capturing the internet's attention with his heartfelt acoustic performances. The aspiring musician, who graduated from Southside High School, has gone viral with two mesmerizing covers: Lana Del Rey's Video Games and Hozier's Take Me to Church.

Gavin's rendition of Video Games has garnered over 9,000 views, while his emotionally charged version of Take Me to Church recently exploded past 11,000 views and continues to climb. In both videos, Gavin captivates viewers with his raw, passionate voice and acoustic guitar accompaniment, creating a unique and intimate musical experience that resonates deeply with fans.

"Music has always had a special place in my heart. Now that I perform, I can see that it's also a way for me to connect with people and express myself," said Gavin. "Seeing my performances reach so many viewers has been incredible, and I'm excited to keep sharing my passion."

Currently studying finance at the University of Arkansas' Walton School of Business, Gavin balances his academic pursuits with what's becoming a growing music career. He recently began having discussions with various firms regarding representation and management.  In the coming months, Gavin plans to perform in the Northwest Arkansas area extensively. He plans to expand his repertoire by incorporating original songs alongside his covers and connecting with audiences through live performances at open mic nights and social media platforms.
