Former R&B Singer, Grammy Award Winner Joe Simon, The "Mouth Of The South," Now Bishop Joe Simon Kicks Off His Louisiana Voter Registration Drive

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Simon says, "It is clear who votes and who does not vote. Your vote affects public policy. Voting is needed in a democracy. The Joe Simon National Voter Registration Drive, in affiliation with Dr. E. Faye Williams and the National Congress of Black Women, is on the move. Both Bishop Simon and Dr. Williams are Louisiana natives. Simon says, "Our mission is to empower the people of Louisiana to participate in our online and mail in grassroots voter registration campaign registering citizens to vote, regardless of race, creed, color, gender identity, religion or national origin. You must be registered to vote in the upcoming November 3, 2020 Presidential Election."

If you are not registered to vote, there's still time to make sure you can vote in the general election. Registering to vote online only takes a few minutes.  Remember, if you've moved since the last time you voted or changed your name, you'll need to update your registration to be allowed to vote.

2. Check Voting and Elections and follow the prompts.

3. If you have a problem registering call 877/805-8447.

You can fill it out on the screen and print a copy of the completed form or print the blank form and fill it out by hand the way some states require.  Remember to sign the form before mailing it to the location listed for your state.
