Flying into LAX for Halloween at Disneyland? Where to stay for the beach half of the trip

LOS ANGELES - EntSun -- Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort runs through Saturday, October 31, 2026, according to the Disneyland press room, and Oogie Boogie Bash runs on select nights through October 31. Many visitors who fly into LAX split the trip: park days in Anaheim, then beach days before the flight home.

For park nights, stay in Anaheim: Journeyed lists 44 hotels within about a 20-minute walk of Disneyland. No hotel near LAX is a good base for daily park trips.

For beach nights, Journeyed's rule: the closest upscale-class hotel to the Manhattan Beach Pier that states a free hot breakfast and self parking of $22 a night or less. The answer is SpringHill Suites Los Angeles LAX/Manhattan Beach.

• 2.3 miles from the pier (a 2.8-mile drive); LAX is 3.5 miles.
• Free hot breakfast, 6 to 9 AM weekdays and 7 to 10 AM weekends; checkout at 12 PM.
• Self parking $22 a night; all-suite rooms; outdoor pool and whirlpool.
• No airport shuttle, no pets, no in-room kitchen stated. About 27 miles from Disneyland, so not a base for park days.

Other options:

• Closer to the sand: Residence Inn LAX/Manhattan Beach, 1.1 miles from the pier (about a 24-minute walk), with free hot breakfast, noon checkout and $30 parking.
• Lower parking: Hampton Inn and Suites Hermosa Beach states $15 parking; Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hermosa Beach states free parking.
• Dawn flight home: Embassy Suites LAX North and Cambria Hotel El Segundo state a free airport shuttle.
