Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Three to the Apalachicola Water and Sewer District

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed three new members to the Apalachicola Water and Sewer District. The newly appointed members are Jimmy Gander, Torben Madson III, and Mark Milliken.

Gander brings a wealth of experience to the district as the Owner and Vice President of JV Gander Oil Company. He also has a background in public service, having previously been elected as a member of the School Board of Franklin County. Gander is a veteran of the Florida National Guard and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of West Florida.

Madson III, who is the Owner and Managing Attorney of The PEO Law Firm, is also joining the district. He is an active member of his community and currently serves on the Franklin County Parks and Recreation Board. Madson holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a juris doctor from the University of Miami.

The third appointee, Mark Milliken, brings extensive leadership experience to his new role as President of Gulf Unmanned Systems Center. He served in the United States Navy for many years before retiring with the rank of Rear Admiral. Milliken has also held positions as Project Manager at Wyle Labs, Senior Manager at Wyle Inc., and Vice President at Elbit Systems of America. He holds a bachelor's degree in analytical management from the United States Naval Academy.

These appointments come at an important time for Apalachicola Water and Sewer District as they work towards providing clean water and efficient sewer services to their community. With their diverse backgrounds and expertise, Gander, Madson III, and Milliken are sure to make valuable contributions to this mission.
