Fashion Week Columbus Announces Fashion Designer Lineup for 10th Anniversary

COLUMBUS, Ohio - EntSun -- Fashion Week Columbus selected nine fashion designers to showcase their collections during the week-long affair that celebrates local fashion. These designers will present their collections at one, (or both) of two Fashion Week Columbus events: 10th Annual Finale Runway Show on Saturday, October 19, 6:30pm-10pm at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus, Ohio, and 10th Annual High Fashion Tea Runway Show on October 13th, 1pm - 4pm at theThe Westin Great Southern Columbus. A panel of industry experts interviewed over 30 designers, reviewed their upcoming collection, then selected the designers whose collections reflected the best technical skills, saleability, being on trend, and overall cohesiveness.

Columbus is ranked third in terms of the number of resident fashion designers, only trailing New York and Los Angeles.

"We have no shortage of qualified fashion designers in Columbus. People in New York and Los Angeles inquire about us frequently," said Thomas McClure, Founder of Fashion Week Columbus. "The word is out there about the talent in Columbus."

"For several years I've worked closely with the designers showcasing at Fashion Week Columbus, and every year I get excited for not only the show but how this propels their career," said Nia Noelle is the Co-Chair for Fashion Week Columbus and Style Director. "The impact that this show has on their lives goes beyond a beautiful dress."
