Designer Registration Opens for Fashion Week Events in Baltimore and New York

BALTIMORE - EntSun -- The Fashion Umbrella Foundation organizers of Baltimore Fashion Week and the Designer Debut have begun registration for its 2020 events.

The annual/seasonal fashion fundraisers are key components in assisting the organization with its annual fundraising goals.  Fundraising is focused on the Fashion Umbrella's programs like the Youth Job Readiness, the Youth Open Mic Series, the Back-to-School: REFRESH, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation Scholarship Award (open to freshman and sophomore college students); and the Educational Honors.  These programs are just a few of the initiatives in place to assist youth with development for their future.

The process for registration has changed.  Before a designer is approved to showcase a meeting is scheduled to discuss the craftsmanship, knowledge-base, and skill-level of the designer, before the meeting ends a decision is rendered regarding showcasing rights.  Registration is easy, quick, and painless.  Options include solo or group designer collection presentations.

To begin registration visit the event website for Baltimore Fashion Week (https://www.baltimore-fashionweek.com) or the Designer Debut (https://www.designerdebut.com).  After registering the designer will receive an automated message to schedule the meeting.

Registration opened October 1, 2019, and closes on or before April 30^th.

The 13th season of Baltimore Fashion Week is August 24-30, 2020, and the runway shows are August 29-30, 2019, and the 4th season for the Designer Debut is September 11, 2020, in New York during New York Fashion Week's Spring/Summer collection season.  Limited showcasing slots are available.
