DeGarmo Launches DeGarmoConnect to Extend Professional Development Across the Donation Community

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - EntSun -- DeGarmo, a leader in talent science and workforce development, today announced DeGarmoConnect, a new learning center that gives professionals in the donation community ongoing access to educational resources, professional development, and practical learning opportunities.

DeGarmoConnect brings  learning resources together in one place, allowing professional development to continue beyond a single event, training session, or coaching conversation. The platform provides flexible, on-demand access to content focused on the people, behaviors, conversations, and leadership challenges that influence performance across donation organizations.

DeGarmoConnect offers two complementary learning experiences:

On-Demand Events provide flexible access to recordings from forums, webinars, and other educational events. Users can explore topics at their own pace, revisit specific segments, and use content as a resource for individual or team discussions.

Learning Programs provide a more structured path from content to application. These self-paced programs combine educational content with reflection activities, supporting resources, knowledge checks, and practical application. Most programs take about two hours and can be completed over multiple sittings.

Together, the two experiences allow professionals to choose the approach that best fits their needs—whether they want to quickly explore a topic, deepen their understanding of a capability, or reinforce learning with their teams.

DeGarmoConnect features content across several areas relevant to professionals working in organ and tissue donation, including:

• Donor and Family Conversations — communication practices, behavioral approaches, and strategies for navigating challenging conversations.
• Communication and Interpersonal Effectiveness — developing awareness and adaptability to strengthen connection, trust, and understanding.
• Professional and Personal Effectiveness — exploring behavioral tendencies and how individual styles influence work and relationships.
• Leadership and Talent Development — developing leaders, coaching teams, and strengthening organizational performance.
• Research and Emerging Practice — connecting professionals with research, partner experiences, and evolving approaches to talent development.

DeGarmoConnect currently includes 18 Learning Programs, more than 36 hours of learning content, and proficiency-based learning opportunities, with new programs and on-demand resources planned as additional forums, webinars, research, and educational content become available.
