DCOTA Invites Professional Designers & More to Two Free Revealing Events on June 24

DANIA BEACH, Fla. - EntSun -- (Dania Beach, FL – June 15, 2021) The Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) is inviting professional designers and industry insiders to two FREE instructive events in DCOTA Atrium C on Thursday, June 24.

Science of Color and Light

In association with the American Society of Interior Designers, Florida South, DCOTA is offering this Special CEU Presentation with Benjamin Moore, North America's favorite paint, color and coatings brand which J.D. Power recently ranked as "Best in Customer Satisfaction among Interior Paints.

"This presentation for professional designers and design students will investigate the interplay of both color and light, and explore the design impact of lighting, color temperature, color rending index and light reluctance value (LRV)," says Anel De Castro, DCOTA's Director of Design Services. "We will examine the characteristics of different light sources and their impact on color."

A CEU, or continuing education unit, is awarded by many education and training providers to signify successful completion of non-credit programs and courses intended to improve the knowledge and skills of working adults. (CEU Details: IDCEC Course Number 103661-R2; 1.0 HSW Learning Unit.)
