CONK! News Returns Live on BlogTalkRadio with "CONK! Happy Hour" on November 24th

MINNEAPOLIS - EntSun -- We are pleased to announce that, on Wednesday, November 24th, CONK! News at conk.com returns to live internet broadcasting on BlogTalkRadio.com with "CONK! Happy Hour", a live weekly call-in radio show that will run at 5 PM Eastern / 4 PM Central every Wednesday at blogtalkradio.com/conknews .

CONK! News Editor-in-Chief Jim Peters said, "We've been heartened by all the people who've contacted us asking when we were going to come back to the BlogTalkRadio platform. It turned out that under our present circumstances, doing a live radio show four nights a week was more than our current infrastructure could handle. But one afternoon a week we can definitely do."

Peters expects this show to be more "loose" than CONK!'s flagship podcast, "CONK! Weekend" - "even though that's pretty loose already. I expect we'll have staff members just walk up to the mic to say a few words. And it's 'happy hour' - so we might break out some booze. And of course, we'll take your calls, on any subject. Maybe while a little in the bag...." Peters hosts, with CONK! "fulfillment journalist" Hank Reardon and other CONK! News Contributors making regular appearances.

"CONK! Happy Hour" kicks off on Wednesday, November 24th with a special Thanksgiving Week edition. This first live broadcast will also serve as the recording for this week's "CONK! Weekend" podcast, which is normally recorded on Thursday afternoons. But with Thanksgiving falling on that Thursday, the recording of this live show will take the place of the pre-recorded Weekend podcast.
