Celebrate Gospel Radio: Radio Announcer Jerry Silvers to be Inducted Into The Spin Awards: Hall of F

ATLANTA - EntSun -- Anticipation is growing for the 8th Annual 2024 Spin Awards Weekend Experience, set to celebrate excellence in Christian Gospel Radio from October 24-26, 2024, at the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, Georgia and the Hilton Atlanta Northeast. This year, the event will feature a special Spin Hall of Fame (HOF) induction ceremony honoring the remarkable contributions of Jerry R. Silvers, a true pioneer in radio.

The weekend will also include special appearances by Everett Drake of the Bobby Jones Gospel TV Show and legendary singer Dr. Greg O'Quin, known for "I Told The Storm." The first two days will offer free workshops, engaging showcases, and the TSA Pre-Ceremony, while the finale will feature a glamorous red carpet gala and the main ceremony on Saturday night, which requires tickets.

With a career spanning over 43+ years, Jerry R. Silvers has left an indelible mark on the radio landscape. Known for his innovative approach to broadcasting, he has been a trailblazer in the Gospel radio community, inspiring generations of listeners and aspiring radio professionals alike.
