Black Mountain Meets "Human Error": KayeDinero on What Technology Can't Reproduce
EntSun News/11102171
The Asheville-based producer brings a digital-age album about instinct and imperfection into one of Western North Carolina's most music-centered communities.
BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. - EntSun -- In a Western North Carolina town where live music remains part of everyday culture, KayeDinero is releasing an album built around an increasingly relevant question:
What remains uniquely human when technology can do almost everything else?
The Asheville-based artist and producer's new seven-track album Human Error is officially available now.
The project features "Morristown," "Lumière," "Geek Squad," "Become Human," "It's Absolute," "Karaoke Dance" and "Truth Be Told."
"Technology can repeat something perfectly," KayeDinero said. "Humans hesitate, improvise, change direction and feel things. Music gets interesting when those imperfect decisions start shaping the record."

That concept feels particularly relevant in communities where musicians still gather, improvise and perform together in physical rooms.
Digital Tools, Human Decisions
KayeDinero produces on a MacBook using GarageBand, FL Studio and Logic Pro, but rejects the idea that software itself creates artistic identity.
"The computer gives me possibilities," she said. "Taste is deciding which possibilities don't belong."
Since relocating to Asheville, her catalog has increasingly reflected Western North Carolina through titles including "Appalachia," "French Broad," "Hendersonville," "Starlight" and "BoomTown."
Human Error pushes that creative period into more conceptual territory.
"Living around mountains and live musicians has made me appreciate contrast," KayeDinero said. "Digital and natural. Fast and quiet. Precision and instinct."
