May 24-27 Memorial Day weekend on the 1,170 acre Big Brush Creek farm
MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. - Dec. 4, 2018 - EntSun -- Big Brush Creek ROOTS Music Festival & Campout started out with a three year plan, but the land is so big, the vision has turned into a perpetual development plan.
The festival site is being carved out of the beautiful Sequatchie Valley, North of Dunlap, 55 minutes North of Chattanooga. Large scale excavation is manicuring the farm's festival landscape.
Bud Light is a sponsor. Bledsoe Telephone Coop Fiber Optic is also a sponsor, connecting to the fiber optic lines already there installing Wi-Fi. More sponsors are on the way.
This roots format is a mix of bluegrass, newgrass, jambands, reggae, funk country, jazz fusion, new country, and psychedelic rock on one stage hosting 25 bands presenting 35 hours of live music. Davidson is selective on bands performing. "We're featuring talented regional bands in a natural, secluded place. The full talent lineup should be booked soon.

So far, multi-genre performers booked are: Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Unspoken Tradition, Dr. Bacon, Glade City Rounders, Tennessee Mafia Jug Band, Lauren Morrow of Whiskey Gentry, Jordan Foster Band, Tennessee Jed, Time Sawyer, Cody McCarver performs his new gospel album on Sunday morning, Ashleigh Caudill Urban Soil, Plainview Vibes, Southern Proof, Matt Rogers, Joe Hott and the Short Mountain Boys, The Sofia Goodman Group, Natchez Tracers, Lazaris Pit and more coming! "All of these bands were invited due to the level of their music, they're all great!" Davidson said.
Low Prices for a rural community. Early Bird weekend passes are just $49 for 4 days! Add the camping option for a Combo Pass, a total of $79. "You can actually afford to bring your family or a group of friends without hocking your car." Davidson said, "it's the price of a campground with 25 free concerts. Bring your RV, it's an extra $50 until Jan. 31, 2019. After that, it's just $60 The Early Bird priced tickets make a great stocking stuffer.
