America's New Star – Coming to a City Near You

LAS VEGAS - April 30, 2019 - EntSun -- Monuments have been created for thousands of years, and they are often the most visited places around the world, from the famous symbols like that of the Washington Monument to the Great Wall of China, to the Christ King in Brazil.  These monuments are relevant to social groups as part of their remembrance of historic pioneers, civic leaders, military leaders, and authors.

As societies have become more organized on a larger scale, so do more modern and different types of monuments, like that of the new home monument "America's Walk of Stars" created by the critically acclaimed promoter Robert Alexander. The legendary promoter, both on-screen and off, has worked with some of the greats in Television and in the Entertainment Industry. His client list reads like the who's who of the Entertainment Industry such as The Beach Boys, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac to Roy Orbison. He has been the President of the Las Vegas Walk of Stars for the last 15 years and is also currently the President of the Motion Picture Hall of Fame, and has been the Past President of the Palm Springs Walk of Stars for 16 years.

In a recent interview with Mr. Alexander, he was asked about his motivation behind the America's Walk of Stars. He stated that "he always thought about doing a monument / star for the home. It is a great way to recognize all of those individuals across America who have made a difference in the following categories: Show Business, Literary, Pioneers and Civic Leaders, Humanitarians, Sports and the Military. It creates a sense of community and history as to where some of those great people have lived or are currently living."

The application can be effective for two years, if needed, in order to give individuals enough time to raise funds and to complete the payment process for a Star. Once the application has been approved and the payment has been received the America's Walk of Stars staff will be in contact with you to schedule the installation of your Star and give you your proclamation from your City claiming that day as Your Day. You will also receive a smaller wall replica to hang inside your home as well as America's Walk of Star lapel pins.  The America's Walk of Stars staff will notify the media of your Star being granted and the Category for which you were granted the Star.
