Action Graphics Honored at 51st Annual Jersey Awards

LINCOLN PARK, N.J. - EntSun -- The Action Graphics team took home three awards at the NJ Ad Club's 51st Jersey Awards on Wednesday, June 5. The three projects represented a small fraction of the print materials produced by Action for their nonprofit and independent school clients over the past year.

"It's always great to have your work be recognized," said Action Graphics EVP Jesse Park. "Even better is how each of these projects helped advance our clients' mission and fulfill their goals."

Brooklyn Youth Sports Club – Annual Report – 1st Place

Action Graphics was awarded first place in the Collateral/All Printed Material – Annual Report section for its work with the Brooklyn Youth Sports club on their 2017-18 annual report. The report highlighted the impact of their work within the community, how it drives their mission forward, and recognized those who supported the organization.

The organization assists Brooklyn youth in their pursuit of college enrollment using basketball as the hook for academic engagement and character development. By combining intensive basketball programming and rigorous academic support, BKYSC builds an enriching educational setting that empowers youth to fulfill their academic, physical, and personal potential.

United Way of Essex and West Hudson – 95th Anniversary Gala Invitation – 2nd place

Action Graphics worked alongside the United Way of Essex and West Hudson to build their invitations for the organization's largest event of the year in 2018 and placed second in the Collateral/All Printed Material – Invitations/Announcements category.

The United Way of Essex and West Hudson exists to improve the lives of individuals, children and families within our footprint to strengthen the collective community. Through programs and service initiatives they address the root causes of community concerns with an emphasis on education, income, and health.

Cooke School and Institute – 30th Anniversary Celebration – 3rd Place

Action Graphics was awarded with a third-place certificate in the Public Relations – Special Event/Client Celebration category for its work with the Cooke School and Institute. The event supported Cooke's Building Futures Campaign and helped raise funds for the school's new building plan.

The Cooke School is a private provider of special education services in New York City for students ages 5-21. Cooke also offers consulting services to the broader community through the Institute, their professional training division.
