Women in Quantum IV – Global Virtual Summit To Champion Women in Quantum Computing March 9-11

NEW YORK - EntSun -- OneQuantum LLC today announced the fourth Women in Quantum virtual summit on March 9 -11, once again featuring more than one dozen noted speakers and panelists and this time adding a unique career fair that will pair employers in the emerging quantum industry with women desiring or progressing in careers in quantum computing.

Day 2 of the summit is focused on Quantum Machine Learning to explore the applications of quantum computing within artificial intelligence. And Day 3 is entirely dedicated to the APAC region.

Three successful global summits have been held since Women in Quantum, a chapter of OneQuantum, formed last Spring. "We believe the incredible response to our Women in Quantum events means women are embracing the opportunities that can be found in this nascent technology industry," said Denise Ruffner, senior advisor at OneQuantum. "We are proud to support women in quantum by offering them a community to share ideas and empower their success in the field. Our Summits to date have been attended by men as well, and all are certainly welcome to participate."

Ruffner noted that there is tremendous enthusiasm for the upcoming WIQ Career Fair, which will be held at the end of each day, following the keynotes and panels. Prior to the Summit, women interested in the career fair are invited to submit their resumes to receive guidance leading to meetings with prospective employers.

Another innovation this time is a 30-minute, easy-to-understand session beginning each of the three days. Led by a professional woman from a company in quantum information science, the sessions are aimed at those with interest and curiosity but minimal background or experience in quantum.
