Uptown Private Care Welcome Charmay De Vera as Director of Nursing

HOUSTON - EntSun -- Uptown Homecare and Uptown Private Care announce the appointment of Charmay De Vera, BSN, RN, as Director of Nursing. De Vera began her role on October 13, 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience in nursing and healthcare leadership to support clients and families throughout greater Houston.

De Vera's background spans hospital nursing, elite private care and international healthcare leadership. Her private care experience includes supporting high-profile families and traveling internationally to Dubai. She has held nursing leadership roles at HCA Healthcare's Tomball Hospital and Home Instead. She also served as Hospital Nursing Administrator at Assafwa Hospital in Benghazi, Libya, before becoming Home Healthcare Lead at Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai.

De Vera leads nursing services for both Uptown Homecare and Uptown Private Care. She brings experience in clinical operations, staff development, quality improvement and collaboration with physicians and community partners.

De Vera earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pangasinan.
