The Waukesha Choral Union and the Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum have collaborated to take the listener on a musical journey through the history of Waukesha.
WAUKESHA, Wis. - EntSun -- The Waukesha Choral Union will present "Make Our Garden Grow: A Celebration of Waukesha County" on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 3:30 PM at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, located at 111 E Main Street, Waukesha. This concert is a groundbreaking collaboration with the Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum, blending music and history in a way rarely seen in the community. Each piece in the program was inspired by a different exhibit or theme from the museum, transforming local history into a living, breathing musical experience. The concert aims to highlight the deep roots and stories of Waukesha County through powerful choral repertoire. "This is more than a concert. It's a reflection of who we are as a community," said Danielle Bridges, Artistic Director of the Waukesha Choral Union. "The music doesn't just entertain, it helps us remember and celebrate."
