True North Country Comics Podcast Nominated for 8th Annual Canadian Podcast Awards

BRAMPTON, Ontario - EntSun -- The Canadian Podcast Awards have announced their 2025 slate of nominees and True North Country Comics Podcast has been nominated for Outstanding Arts Series.

Other nominees in the Outstanding Arts Series category include Books Unbound, On Staging, Second Act Actors, and The Creative Imbalance.

"This Canadian Podcast Award nomination is truly an honour," said John Swinimer, podcaster, True North Country Comics Podcast. "I created this podcast in 2017 with the goal of shining a spotlight on Canada's creative talent in comic books and graphic novels. Voting for the 8th Canadian Podcast Awards is now open until Nov 22nd 2025 11:59pm EST. Anyone who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident that has been a host or technical producer for a podcast can become a registered member. The Canadian Podcast Awards (CPA) created this annual event to bring attention to the podcasting industry and artistry in Canada. It is meant to focus on amplifying Canadian voices and build community. The CPA are an industry award to highlight Canadian talent and diversity in podcasting. Nominations and voting are done by the body of CPA members.
