TRENIQUES: New York Fashion Week Features

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Find Your ID NYC (https://fyidnyc.com/) invited designer Catherine Sanchez (https://www.instagram.com/caterinesanchezcollec...) to its Thursday episode of Treniques with host Trinity Fussell (https://www.instagram.com/slaybytrinity/). Sanchez owns a ready-to-wear, lifestyle and activewear womenswear brand featuring feminine, whimsical textiles. Fussell spoke to Sanchez about her brand and about her New York Fashion Week (NYFW) collection.

Sanchez's NYFW collection was inspired by the New York City community and the way individuals came together to be helpful and resourceful during COVID-19 shutdowns. The pieces were created to be comfortable and magical during a dark time.

"I feel right now, people need encouragement. They need inspiration… I wanted to make things that were really comfortable and really soft to support the working women, the everyday women, the woman who lives at home," said Sanchez

After speaking with Sanchez, Fussell featured three designers on ShopLocalDesigners.com. She also gave a brief summary of Find Your ID NYC's fashion activities, including the agency's NYFW event.

Fussell went on to educate the viewers on the "Trend of the Week" – leather. She explained that leather compliments all ages, genders and skin tones. Black and white leather sets were featured by different designers, and Fussell brought her styling opinions and tips to the stage.

Treniques is a weekly Instagram and Facebook Live series that showcases creative artists and their talents. Each week's featured guest presents a tutorial via Instagram Live and teaches the public tricks and tips on their respective profession.
