Todd Caponi Joins VentureSCALE as New Managing Director

Esteemed author, speaker and experienced Chief Revenue Officer partners with leading sales accelerator to propel 2019 cohort forward
CHICAGO - EntSun -- Now in its third year of operation, VentureSCALE is pleased to announce Todd Caponi as its new Managing Director. As an award-winning sales executive, growth leader and the author of "The Transparency Sale," Caponi brings a strategic leadership approach that will complement VentureSCALE's vision as the organization moves forward with its 2019 Cohort. Applications for the 2019 Cohort will open July 25.
Caponi was most recently Chief Revenue Officer of Chicago's PowerReviews. Deloitte recognized the organization as the fastest-growing tech company in Illinois during his tenure. Prior to PowerReviews, Caponi helped to facilitate a successful IPO for ExactTarget, followed by an acquisition by Salesforce.com for more than $2.5 billion.
Additionally, Caponi has earned the American Business "Golden Stevie" Award for VP of WW Sales of the Year and successfully operated a thriving sales training organization. The self-proclaimed revenue capacity architect is eager to add this new venture to his list of professional pursuits.

VentureSCALE remains the Midwest's first and only sales accelerator dedicated to this group. It hosts annual cohorts of emerging tech founders looking to scale their company with advanced sales support. Eligible companies must have between two and 20 employees, and be generating at least $15,000 in monthly recurring revenue.
Joining a VentureSCALE cohort proactively strengthens the sales strategies and long-term success of early stage B2B tech companies. Each six-month cohort guides 10-12 companies through classroom work, a mentorship program and roundtable discussions. A network of mentors from Chicago's B2B tech C-suites - including Sprout Social, Spothero, LinkedIn, G2 Crowd and more - unpack the fundamentals of prospecting strategies, buying insights and sales recruiting. Cohorts walk away with the knowledge and ability to build a scalable sales and revenue foundation within their business.
