The Long March To Freedom - the exhibition
EntSun News/10891012
The touching masterpiece, a South African National Heritage monument, for the first time available for world touring to forever celebrate the struggle against racial injustice.
LONDON - EntSun -- THE LONG MARCH TO FREEDOM
A monumental celebration. South Africa honouring the heroes of the liberation struggle: from the 1700s, from rebel chiefs and revered kings, to the more well-known activists of the 1980s and 1990s, each figure is poised in walking motion, marching forward to the inevitable liberation.
Up to 97 life-size bronze statues of exceptional quality, entirely created by South African artists, reflect the diverse and collective magnitude of the struggle.
The Long March to Freedom is an enduring and deeply touching form of thanks to the South Africans who sacrificed their lives for the democratic nation enjoyed today, as well as to anybody in the world suffering and fighting against racial segregation.
