The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum Offers New Axe-Throwing Activity
EntSun News/10840006
Fairfield County's Only Outdoor Axe-Throwing Venue; Visit on Sunday, October 4 for Free Axe Throwing
FAIRFIELD, Conn. - EntSun -- The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum, an outdoor adventure park in Bridgeport, CT with zipline and ropes courses, announced the addition of axe throwing as an additional activity to do outdoors.
Each of the three axe throwing lanes is set up with social distancing protocols in mind. Lanes are available for rent in 60-minute increments, with a maximum of 5 participants per lane. An axe-throwing coach gets groups started and is available for help and throwing tips. Axe-throwing participants must be age 12 or older, and participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult that is also a participant.
"We're so excited to offer this new outdoor activity for our guests," said Candie Fisher, VP of Sales and Marketing for The Adventure Park. "Axe throwing has grown tremendously in popularity over the past few years, but most axe-throwing venues are indoors. We wanted to bring this unique activity to the outdoors, where people can easily social distance and be in the fresh air. In addition, fall is a beautiful time of year to be outside in the trees."
