Teen entrepreneur Kayla Tilton opens new business, Kay Kays Room

NEW ORLEANS - EntSun -- Kay Kays Room is the go-to site that has something for everyone, including children, teens, men, and women. It is the brainchild of eight grader Kayla Tilton, a young business owner who comes from a long line of successful entrepreneurs, including her parents, Leon and Keisha Tilton. In addition, they have started a non-profit, First Priority Foundation, that endeavors to help our youth. The younger Tilton is following in her parents' footsteps. Having traveled all over as a child, Kayla has fresh ideas that are sure to help catapult her business to stellar success. She recently completed a computer programming course with Apple and a STEM program for girls, sponsored by GE. Kayla has been the recipient of several awards, including accolades for Good Citizenship, Honor Roll and Dance. She plans to further her education by earning a degree in Business.

Kayla plans to rotate inventory often in order to keep up with demand and to ensure her store continually maintains a new look. In keeping with her slogan, "You Never Know What You Will Find In My ROOM", this amazing prodigy does market research to find out what items she should add next. Her future goals include becoming a seller on Amazon, eBay and WalMart.
