Summit Ed. Group, Austin Prep School to Speak at New England Assoc. for College Admission Counseling

NEWTON, Mass. - May 24, 2019 - EntSun -- Summit Educational Group (www.mytutor.com), a successful and well-respected test prep tutoring company, and Austin Preparatory School (www.austinprep.org), a private Catholic high school committed to exemplary teaching and learning, today announced that they will present the findings of an innovative college readiness program at the 2019 Annual Meeting of the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC).

The conference focus is to educate members on trends and best practices to better serve students and families in college preparation. It will be held May 29-31, 2019, on the campus of the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI.

Overview:
Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA, through an official partnership with Summit Educational Group in Newton, MA, are in the third year of a new program in which all juniors have a college counseling course built into their second semester schedule. This course includes both application work and standardized test prep for the SAT and ACT. The speakers will share experiences, successes and failures, and school community feedback as this innovative program continues to grow.
