The service allows many common concerns to be evaluated remotely using detailed photographs, video, project documents, and a live discussion of the conditions. It offers clients a faster and more affordable way to obtain an independent professional opinion when an on-site inspection may not be necessary.
"Many failures leave clues that can be seen clearly in photographs or during a live video walkthrough," said Frederick M. Hueston, founder of Stone Forensics. "Discoloration, cracking, spalling, loose tile, moisture-related conditions, countertop problems, installation defects, and improper repairs can often be evaluated remotely. The first step is determining whether the available evidence is sufficient to provide a reliable opinion."
