"I AM" is Highlighting the Importance of Healing from Childhood Abuse

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Author, speaker and poet, Amanda de Geneste documents her journey surviving childhood sexual abuse in her new book of poetry titled "I AM." After experiencing misguided love, teenage pregnancy and dropping out of high school as a direct result of unhealed trauma from her childhood sexual abuse, Amanda expresses how detrimental writing and speaking out about her pain became a vital tactic to combat the hardships of her traumatic abuse experiences.

As said by Amanda, "sharing the facts can help in both prevention and healing, I was inspired enough to share my stories so others can be encouraged to talk and learn from them."

"I AM" not only brings awareness to sexual abuse, but also guides all who have suffered from any painful experiences that effected their emotions to find a therapeutic outlet.
