Selling-Songwriter Behind Rihanna Debuts as an Artist for the First Time in her Career

Award-winning songwriter M'Jestie releases 3 anticipated singles which will hit streaming platforms this November
ATLANTA - EntSun -- Double platinum-selling songwriter, M'Jestie is the songwriter behind iconic music artists Rihanna and Victoria Beckham, M'Jestie announces the debut of her first single this November.
On November 10, Icon Award recipient M'Jestie will release music on all major streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Soundcloud. These records include: Take Me To The Moon, All Away, and True. With influences from Blues, Jazz, and Hip-Hop, M'Jestie's music is timeless and without boundaries.
"I've always wanted to be an artist. However, I was never willing to do things that would compromise myself. My pen game was stronger than my ability to look the part so I stood my ground in order to emerge as an artist with integrity and in full control," said M'Jestie.
M'Jestie's remarkable journey began shortly after a member of the popular 90s group Surface (J Records) David Pic Conley encouraged her to leave her hometown of Newark, NJ and become a full-time songwriter. With his help and the dedication of friend and now-former Senior A&R for Island Def Jam Chris Anokute, M'Jestie secured her first major placement with Barbados-born superstar, Rihanna. Though the success of Pon de Replay peaked at number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, number 2 on the U.S. Hot Billboard chart and the UK singles chart, and went on to be certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, she had several other placements. M'Jestie's credits also include working with Dame Dash and P. Diddy penning songs for Melanie Fiona, Kreesha Turner, and UK-singer/songwriter Victoria Beckham.

With the desire to expand her songwriting career, M'Jestie opened Dream Little Dreamer and Dream City University, a music academy and recording studio for kids and young adults. While creating music with students, M'Jestie started developing her own sound with producer, Calvin Merazh.
Fans can listen and download M'Jestie's new records on streaming platforms on November 10.
