Saturday in the Park February 2025 Public Sing-Along for LA
EntSun News/11048887
When all that we can do is sing, that's what we do - it helps us feel better and improves our response to natural disasters. Here in California we really need that right now. Join us as we offer our voices to support LA.
SAN DIEGO - EntSun -- The Saturday in the Park Public Sing-Along has helped people transform their mood for 90 minutes once each month. We've been doing this for almost three years. You're invited to join in the fun and experience the power of group singing.
On Saturday February 8th, 2025, from 10:45am-12:15pm Pacific Time, we will meet at the ticket plaza of the Starlight Bowl in San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park to sing (and stand) for those who have lost everything in the recent Los Angeles County fires.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of singing and/or musical ability.
Warm-up begins at 10:45am for an 11:00am downbeat. The "secret" parking lot is actually behind the Bowl - see if you can find it! Or save parking angst (and time) by using the lot on the east side of Park Blvd near the Veterans Museum and Naval Medical Center; it can be a shorter walk from there to our location than wandering through the main lots hoping for space.

There's also a noisy green tram that shuttles from those eastern parking lots up to the Park, but it can take a little longer since "our" stop is the next to last one. Finally, the Old Town Trolley tours (https://www.trolleytours.com/san-diego) are free for San Diego residents, and they stop a short block from the Bowl. Park anywhere along their route, and you can get there for the cost of an adventure.
