Renegade Rocker Leona X Releases New Album

LAS VEGAS - Dec. 6, 2018 - EntSun -- 'The Woman In Me' from Leona X demands your attention with its fiercely intense lyrics and musicianship. The new album is a journey of strength. "I want to empower women, but still cater to my male audience. So I've blended both elements in the songs, sex, and empowerment. I wanted it to sound soft and sensual, yet dark and heavy," Leona said.

The album has universal appeal with searing guitar solos and full throttle vocals. Her lyrics have an edgy energy akin to Joan Jett, and the guitar crunch of Angus Young. 'The Woman In Me' was produced by Vinnie Castaldo at The Tone Factory.

Leona noted, "All I wanted, more than anything, was to get all this passion and conviction, swelling up in my soul, out to my audience.  Because of my awesome fans, I was able to get this EP out. It couldn't have happened without the support and generosity of everyone who backed my Kickstarter Campaign."

The band is comprised of some of Las Vegas' most respected and talented musicians. This three-piece delivers an unexpected powerful sound. Besides writing additional songs and developing on a video for the title track, "The Woman In Me", Summer 2019 Tour will put the band back on the road to reconnect with Leona's fans.
