Reclaiming Narratives" in Tudor London with More Curricular's Hidden Tudor Tours

SOUTHWARK, U.K. - EntSun -- London, UK - Celebrate Black History Month this October by stepping back in time to Tudor London with More Curricular's immersive and engaging family tour. Inspired by Claire Linney's book "Time Tub Travellers and the Silk Thief," this interactive tour aims to reclaim the narratives of black Tudors who have often been overlooked or erased from history.

Led by Yvette Reinfor, a former teacher and founder of More Curricular, the walking tour will take participants on a journey through Southwark where they will learn about Reasonable Blackman, a black silk weaver, and his daughter Jane. Together with Jane, they will solve the mystery of the stolen silks and uncover the rich history of black Tudors.

This year's theme for Black History Month is "Reclaiming Narratives," with a focus on correcting historical inaccuracies and highlighting the untold stories and successes of black heritage. The tour is perfect for children aged 7-11, combining history with storytelling in an engaging and interactive way.
