PYNKTALKS: Esh shares the truths of being an American Idol contestant

NEW YORK - EntSun -- Singer-songwriter, Esh, joined Find Your ID NYC (https://fyidnyc.com/) for a virtual conversation about her career in music and the start of her early career on an episode of PYNKTALKS (https://www.instagram.com/p/CHEo28wFdsp/). Esh spoke about her time as a young performer, touring as a background vocalist, fronting the alt-rock band, Red and Reckless in 2009, and appearing on American Idol in 2010.

She shared what she had realized through her experiences of being surrounded by a great number of passionate, talented performers. She revealed the behind-the-scenes of being on a performance reality show after just having her daughter. She talked about the struggles she faced on the show that the camera did not show.

"Being surrounded by so many other people with just the same passion, I was like [laxidasical.] 'Okay I can sing, great.' But these other contestants, they were getting it," said Esh.
