Productiv Adds Second Operation in Charlotte to Support eCommerce Fulfillment and Contract Packaging Growth

RICHMOND, Va. - EntSun -- Productiv, a national leader in ecommerce order fulfillment and contract packaging has added a second Charlotte location near South Tryon Street in southwest Charlotte. The new 122,000 square foot operation is the company's fifth strategic site and its 15th site overall including client-embed operations.

"Charlotte is a hotbed for growing fulfillment and distribution companies like ours for good reasons -- nearby access to Interstates 77, 485 and 85 and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport," says Doug Legan, Productiv's President. "Customers want orders shipped faster and faster. From our two Charlotte locations, we can reach 60% of the U.S. population via ground shipping in just two days, including customers in many major cities like New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Atlanta."

In addition to supporting its swelling B2B and B2C ecommerce business, the operation will also enable growth for the company's contract packaging customers. "We're adding controlled production areas, clean rooms and automated packaging for customers with specific requirements," says Legan. "These facility enhancements coupled with our lean-engineered processes add the capabilities and efficiencies our consumer goods packaging customers need to grow more profitably."
