NATIONAL CITY, Calif. - EntSun -- After 35 years in business, K-Surplus Sales, Inc., a locally owned hardware store, is closing its doors. The company will liquidate inventory, which will take place via an online auction. The auction is hosted by Cal Auctions, a local auction house specializing in online auctions. This online-only auction starts closing on Thursday, June 16, 2022, with a preview day on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

K-Surplus Sales, Inc. was a go-to hardware store for people shopping for all types of hardware. Like many traditional brick-and-mortar retailers, K-Surplus Sales, Inc. has shifted to selling online. What set the local business apart from its competition is that they sell hardware in bulk versus selling items by piece.

Buyers have begun placing bids on items in the K-Surplus. Auction items include hardware, vintage scales, tool boxes, tools, racks, and more are also being auctioned off. All items started at $1.00 and there are no reserve prices. This means that each lot will be sold regardless of price.

Those who are interested in placing bids will be able to attend the preview day on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM located at 1403 Cleveland Avenue in National City, California. All the items that are available in the online auction will be available for inspection.
