Poor web hosting is 'biggest mistake' made in rush to get online
EntSun News/10830783
Businesses fail to make smart choice about website hosting services
COVENT GARDEN, U.K. - EntSun -- Businesses have blindly flocked online during the global lockdown without considering if their hosting company is fit for purpose.
That's according to James Wilson, founder of www.UKwebhostreview.com who says his hosting review website has been inundated with people looking to switch providers.
Poor performance, including website downtime, was the main reason for switching, followed closely by frustration with poor customer service.
"While we have seen traffic to our site more than double during lockdown as people look to set up an online business, we have also seen an even greater increase in those looking to switch hosting," says Wilson.
"Businesses making their first move online often invest significantly in content creation, design, SEO and marketing, but when it comes to hosting they take the cheapest option or just think all hosting is the same."

UK Web Host Review independently tests leading hosting companies to provide in-depth reviews, considering factors including site speed, customer support, and server uptime.
Reviews of major hosting companies including BlueHost, Hostinger, and HostGator can be found on www.UKwebhostreview.com as well as guides comparing features and services from providers.
"Saving a few pennies on hosting could be the biggest mistake you make as a new online business," says Wilson. "Luckily, switching provider can be quick and painless."
Five Recommended Hosting Solutions
1. Hostinger – "Budget hosting from 99p (US$0.99) per month, packed with features, great customer support"
2. SiteGround – "World-class hosting, free site transfer, responsive chat"
3. BlueHost – "Experienced WordPress experts, intuitive control panel"
4. iPage – "Budget web host from £1.50 (US$1.99) per month and unlimited storage"
5. HostGator – "Affordable ecommerce solution with impressive reliability"
