Petty, Cornell, Anderson, Roderick, Faunt Among Additions To Wizard World Sacramento, Sept. 20-22

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - EntSun -- Lori Petty (Tank Girl, A League of their Own), Lydia Cornell ("Too Close for Comfort"), Melody Anderson ("Flash Gordon"), Brande Roderick ("Baywatch") and Jason Faunt ("Mighty Morphin Power Rangers")are among today's additions to the celebrity roster at Wizard World Sacramento, set for September 20-22 at Cal Expo.

Also joining the list of newly-scheduled attendees are Claudia Wells (Back to the Future franchise), Sandra Taylor (The Princess Diaries) and Samm Levine ("Freaks and Geeks," Inglourious Basterds).

The eight join an already standout field which includes Jason Momoa (Justice League, Aquaman), "Charmed" stars Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause, Richard Grieco (A Night At The Roxbury, "21 Jump Street"), Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie), Sam J. Jones ("Flash Gordon") and pro wrestling legend The Honky Tonk Man. Additional celebrities are expected to be added closer to the show.

The event marks Wizard World's return to the California state capital, and first at Cal Expo. Wizard World Sacramento was held from 2014-2017 at the Sacramento Convention Center. The event will feature many of the world's top comics creators, an outstanding array of programming, live entertainment, cosplay contests, gaming and more.

Wizard World events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 10th event scheduled on the 2019 Wizard World calendar, Sacramento show hours are Friday, September 20, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, September 21, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, September 22, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.

Wizard World Sacramento is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.
