Petite designer registration for petite fashion event ends soon

BALTIMORE - March 18, 2019 - EntSun -- UNDER, is a fashion production devoted to representing members of the petite community.  May 18, 2019, is the return date for this event and will take place in front of an audience of strong representatives who uphold the petite community.

Petite according to Wikipedia is a person standing at the height of 5' 3" or shorter.  UNDER provides a platform for models eliminated from runway shows due to height restrictions.  Garments designed and showcased during the event provide a visual voice for models, designers, and petite focused boutiques.

Although the model castings have ended for the 2019 designer registration is still open but closes on March 31, 2019.  The Baltimore War Memorial building is the placeholder for the 5^th annual production of UNDER.

"The decision was made back in 2012 to host an event to satisfy the need for models who were not tall enough to participate in our other annual events like Baltimore Fashion Week, and now the Designer Debut at New York Fashion Week.  I personally believe fashion is a platform where everyone should have a voice which is why UNDER was started," stated Sharan Nixon, Founder/Chief Volunteer of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation.

Proceeds from this event will be allocated to fund programs like the Educational Honors, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation Scholarship Award, the Impact Awards, and the Youth OPEN Mic Performance Series.  To continue the heartbeat for these programs the Foundation is in search of supporters and donors just like you.  Proceeds from fundraisers like UNDER is a way to keep the lifeline to the Foundation's programs active.
