Open Art Call | The Art of Artificial Intelligence | Copenhagen
EntSun News/11072012
COPENHAGEN, Denmark - EntSun -- //
Time present and time past / Are both perhaps present in time future, / And time future contained in time past" – T.S. Eliot
All that gives rise to an inscription in general, whether it is literal or not and even if what it distributes in space is alien to the order of the voice: cinematography, choreography, of course, but also pictorial, musical, sculptural 'writing'" – Jacques Derrida

The upcoming edition of The Wrong Biennale, the world's largest and most decentralized digital art event, will feature the exhibition The Art of Artificial Intelligence.
Running online from November 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, the exhibition explores the theme of AI Chronotopes: artistic reflections on artificial intelligence and its role in shaping contemporary time, space, and imagination.
A Global Platform Within The Wrong Biennale
Founded in 2013, The Wrong Biennale brings together hundreds of independent digital art projects across the globe. AI Chronotopes | The Art of Artificial Intelligence forms part of this expansive network, positioning itself at the intersection of visual arts, sound, literature, and experimental media with a focus on artificial intelligence.

Exploring "AI Chronotopes"
The curatorial framework takes inspiration from the notion of chronotopes, which is the interconnectedness of time and space in cultural narratives. By applying this concept to AI, the exhibition invites both critical and poetic reflections on how artificial intelligence reshapes artistic practices, perceptions, and environments.
Open Call and Artist Participation
Artists worldwide are invited to submit works across disciplines. The open call remains open until October 20, 2025, welcoming submissions in digital installations, AI-generated imagery, sound works, text experiments, and hybrid media.
Participation is free of charge, and artists retain full copyright.
To inspire contributors, the project provides a free "Chronotopes Image Pack", which is a collection of visual and textual resources designed to spark new creative directions.
A Second Round: Revisions and Remixes
In addition to the first wave of submissions, the exhibition will also feature a second revision and remix round later in the Biennale period.
Selected works will be opened to reinterpretation and transformation by other participating artists, creating a dynamic dialogue across disciplines and geographies.
