Nominations Open for the March of Dimes' 25th Annual Heroines of Washington Awards

The program will celebrate its 25th anniversary and recognize finalists and winners on November 6 at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner
ARLINGTON, Va. - EntSun -- The March of Dimes announced today that nominations are open for the 25th Annual Heroines of Washington Awards. The awards, presented by ASRC Federal, honor professional women for their extraordinary community service and leadership.
Nominees must reside in Maryland, Virginia or Washington, D.C., work in one of the following professional categories and demonstrate an exemplary commitment to volunteering outside of their professional roles. Self-nominations are welcome, and all nominations are due by June 2, 2025.
The categories for this year's awards are:
In addition to the above, the March of Dimes will also present a Lifetime Achievement Award and Corporate Heroine Award at the black-tie awards gala on Thursday, November 6, 2025. The gala's proceeds will fund March of Dimes programs, research, community services, education and advocacy to support the health of all moms and babies.

"This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Heroines of Washington Awards," said Diane Nguyen, CFO of Microsoft Federal and co-chair of the 2025 Heroines of Washington Awards. "Milestones like this provide a meaningful moment to reflect on how far we've come, and it's truly inspiring to see our Heroines' lasting impact in the DMV. Since the event's founding in 2001, the Heroines of Washington awards program has recognized 166 Heroines and raised nearly $5.5 million to support the March of Dimes mission.
