New Rochelle: "Coffee with the Mayor" monthly series launches in January

~ Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert of City News has announced a new monthly series called "Coffee with the Mayor" starting in January. The series aims to provide residents with the opportunity to connect with the Mayor over coffee, share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas, and ask questions about City issues.
The first two events of "Coffee with the Mayor" have been scheduled for Saturday, January 25th at 10AM at Harpoon Hanna's on 211 Main St and Saturday, February 22nd at 10AM at Casaroma on 391 Huguenot. Other dates and locations throughout the City will be announced for the coming months.
In a statement, Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert expressed her excitement for this new initiative. She stated, "As we kick off the new year, I am excited to launch 'Coffee with the Mayor', a series of conversations designed to hear directly from residents about their priorities for our City." She also added that this initiative will create a more accessible and informal platform for neighbors to share invaluable feedback.

The upcoming events are as follows: Sunday, March 9th at 11AM at The North End Grill on 1301 North; Saturday, April 5th at 10AM at Cafetero on 111 Centre Ave; Sunday, May 18th at 10AM at JCC Mid-Westchester on 999 Wilmot Road in Scarsdale; and Saturday, June 14th at 10AM at Shore Road Diner on 370 Pelham Road in New Rochelle.
Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert hopes that through these gatherings, she can continue to work together with residents to build a stronger and more vibrant community while also supporting local businesses. More dates and locations will be announced in the coming months. Residents are encouraged to attend these casual gatherings and engage in meaningful conversations with their Mayor.
