New Phoenix Theater Seeks Local Actors For Musical Production of The Full Monty

PHOENIX - EntSun -- Neon Cactus Playhouse, a new theater in Phoenix, Arizona, will be holding extended auditions for a musical production of the Full Monty on December 8, 2019 from 6 - 9 PM at Pink Church PHX. The three performances will run from January 31st to February 2nd.

The Full Monty follows six unemployed steelworks in Buffalo, New York who are miserable.They have no cash and no prospects and to make it all worse, they catch their wives and other women going crazy over male strippers. The six men then set out to make some quick cash showing off their "real man" bodies by becoming a team of male strippers. As the guys work through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties they find strength as a group and overcome their inner demons.

"At Neon Cactus Playhouse, we aim to be fearless and different from the rest and we can't think of a better show than the Full Monty that promotes this." says George Canady, Director of The Full Monty. • MUSIC: 32 bars of a contemporary Broadway song that best showcases their vocal range and ability. Actors should bring sheet music that's in a binder, in the correct key, and have start and stops clearly marked.   An accompanist is provided. No recorded accompaniment will be allowed.
