Nails & Tips by Laila London presents R&B hit maker Al B. Sure at Thanksgiving Giveaway

NEW YORK - EntSun -- On Saturday, November 21^st 2020, music hit maker Al B. Sure ("Night & Day", producer of Jodeci's "Come & Talk To Me") will join the Bronx-based salon, Nails & Tips by Laila London, for their Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. The event will take at the salon's location - 3740 Third Avenue, Bronx NY 10456 – from 12 noon to 3 pm EST.

"Folks in the neighborhood have been extra supportive of the salon," said Alize Jones, owner of Nails & Tips by Laila London. "They've looked out for the business in so many ways. So, with the turkey giveaway, this is our way of giving back to the community".

A protégé of music legend Quincy Jones, Al B Sure is known for the chart topping smash, "Nite & Day", from 1988. A year later, he joined fellow hit makers James Ingram, El Debarge and the "Maestro", Barry White, on the ballad, "The Secret Garden", from Quincy Jones' Grammy winning album, "Back On The Block." Al B Sure went on to produce artists such as Tevin Campbell, Faith Evans and the group, Jodeci (he co-wrote/co-produced their Top Ten hit, "Come & Talk To Me", in 1991). Al continues to create music as a solo artist and for other acts.

Opening in the early fall of 2020, Nails & Tips by Laila London offers a variety of manicures and pedicures as well nail enhancements – all with high standards one can find in more expensive salons but affordable for the community they serve. "The goal is to provide customers in the area with access to services that would only be granted to those more fortunate," says owner Alize Jones. "As a Black-owned business, it's our goal to understand the plight of those in the surrounding community and provide a quality service our customers do deserve. We are the only Black-owned business on that entire block, so this gives us a sense of pride in what we do."
