Media Personality and Brand Influencer Named Music Director of Streetz 94.5

Atlanta, G.A. — January 15, 2019 — Today Atlanta hip hop station Streetz 94.5 (WFDR-FM) announced that Media Personality and Brand Influencer Sean "Ferrari" Simmons has been named Music Director. The announcement coincides with his on-air contract renewal.

A true testament to hard work, Ferrari started as a part-time producer at V-103 WVEE. During this time he fostered relationships and gained insight from radio veterans that grew his name, brand, and industry experience. In addition to his work with Streetz 94.5, he also serves as a Media Correspondent alongside Kenny Burns and Su Solo on BallerAlert.com's weekly pop culture show. His ability to resonate with audiences shines on and off-air through his brand deals with companies like Footlocker, Defiance Fuel, and BET.  He's the recipient of respected industry awards such as, the Salute the DJ's 2018 Best Radio Host award and the 2016 Ford Motor Company Go Further award.

As music director, Ferrari will work in conjunction with the Program Director on production, music scheduling, and copywriting. He'll coordinate with artists and record labels, and assist in the overall sound of the station. Ferrari is very excited about the promotion and anxious to make a strong impact. "It's a chance to do something I'm extremely passionate about! Music is my life and it's an honor that I've been chosen to assume the duties," he says.
