3 Ontario companies triple down efforts for bigger social impact
BARRIE, Ontario - EntSun -- Canadian artisan retailer and social enterprise, MARNIE & MICHAEL of Midland/Penetanguishene has partnered with sustainable water bottle company, THE SOGGY PUFFIN, and artisanal fair trade producers, THE 100 MILE STORE of Creemore, on a cross-charity promotion with the sale of their BAG & SOULBOTTLE bundle.
Launching today on MARNIE & MICHAEL's website and at the Creemore 100 Mile Store location, up to 15% of profits from sales will go to support CAMH Simcoe County initiatives and $1 per bottle to WATER FIRST, an organization providing sustainable access to safe, clean water in Indigenous communities in Canada.
"We believe that the way to make a greater impact is in collaborating with like-minded companies to help raise funds or awareness for our mission," said Jennifer St. John, mental health advocate and Founder and head Designer of MARNIE & MICHAEL.
"Consumers know they have a lot of power in choosing what they buy. This collaboration just further supports both companies mission statements and the social impact potential the retail market can make," said Linda DeWinter, Owner of THE 100 MILE STORE and Founder of THE SOGGY PUFFIN.
