Manatee County charter school recognizes one year of Coke Florida partnership
EntSun News/11102010
BRADENTON, Fla. - EntSun -- Team Success: A School of Excellence is recognizing the one-year anniversary of a student-driven partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages Florida that has brought experiences and opportunities to children and teens attending the K-12 charter school in Manatee County.
Coke Florida, the state's locally owned Coca-Cola bottler serving more than 21 million consumers statewide, operates on three community pillars: sustainability, education and economic empowerment. Its education pillar, which has been particularly beneficial to Team Success, prioritizes youth development, college scholarships and access to necessary resources.
Since the start of the 2025-26 school year, students of all grade levels have enjoyed the benefits of the strategic collaboration. To date, Coke Florida has:
"The past year as a Coke Florida partner has been tremendously impactful on not just the happiness of our students, but the resources that they have access to," said Patrick Spence, CEO of Team Success. "A strong education begins with the right tools, and in alignment with our school's mission to enable students to thrive in their future, Coke Florida's donations ensure that students have reliable technology to help them reach new heights and achieve their greatest potential."

One of the largest Black-owned businesses in the nation, Coke Florida donates 300 laptops annually to students and adults across Florida during Black History Month. As part of 2026's donation initiative, eight laptops were donated to Team Success students for writing essays.
Team Success serves a student body of primarily minority students, and the school's leadership team is passionate about closing the achievement gap for minority students in Manatee County. This aligns with Coke Florida's commitment to support underserved students by providing technological, educational and foundational tools for success. For Hispanic Heritage Month 2026, which runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, Team Success and Coke Florida will collaborate on the development and launch of a Coke Florida Lab, a dedicated computer lab for student use at the charter school's South Campus.
Team Success is still accepting enrollment applications for the 2026-27 school year. Spots are limited. To begin the enrollment process, visit TeamSuccessSchools.org (https://new.teamsuccessschools.org/) or call 941-714-7260 (K-5 campus) or 941-444-4333 (6-12 campus) to request an application.
