Local Actor Lance E. Nichols Stars in Newly Released Arceneaux Series

NEW ORLEANS - EntSun -- Local home-grown actor Lance E. Nichols has brought his well-honed method acting skills into the highly suspenseful mystery streaming series called "Arceneaux" Season One-Melpomene's Song by Neutral Ground Films and is now available to view FREE on Amazon Prime Video.

Most viewers remember Mr. Nichols as Dr. Larry Williams in the critically acclaimed HBO series TREME and as The River King from INTO THE BADLANDS on AMC.

Lance shines even brighter in the starring role as lead detective in a homicide case involving the teenage daughter of a prominent New Orleans property developer.  The series is dramatically simple in its scenes told primarily in the interview room of the New Orleans Police Department. The lighting brings to the forefront the dark nature of the case and adds to the overall suspense. The viewer will be hooked quickly.

The characters are intertwined, as most in a thriving community are.  Surprising twists and unexpected questions arise in every scene, leaving the viewer to realize that in the end, all we really want in life is love and acceptance.  The story has an underlying message for the viewer, but you will have to watch the series in its entirety to receive it.

The ensemble cast includes the inspirational talents of Ian Casselberry, Vanessa Cloke, Amye Gousset, Shanna Forrestall, Phyllis Montana-Leblanc, Billy Slaughter, Matthew Thompson, and Rae Varela. The series was created, written, and directed by Jason D. Buch and produced by Jason A. Waggenspack and Sean J. Donnelly.

The lead character, Detective Arceneaux, is inspiring. The series is worthy of following seasons and will be needed to satiate our cravings of endless dramatic, fictional mysteries.
