JET Progress Releases New Film

HONOLULU - EntSun -- JET Progress, an independent Hawaii-based film production company in association with Draqual Media, is proud to announce the release of its newest SciFu* art film, OTOSOTU (pronounced "Oh-Toe-So-Two" for "On The Other Side Of The Universe"). *SciFu or Science Futuring is a new literary and cinematic genre created by JET Progres, that incorporates science-based futuring to impart a stronger sense of plausibility and credibility than traditional science fiction or fantasy,

OTOSOTU is an unusual film combining SciFu with mystery-drama, together exploring on the nature of the human soul. The art film is further distinguished by its (1) cast playing multiple roles; (2) use of musical minimalism; (3) departure from "Kill the non-terrestrial;" and (4) reliance on SciFu mystery-drama rather than violence, drugs, crime and xenophobia to engage viewers.

The film stars internationally-awarded actor Daniel S. Janik of STATIC 2021, THE PERFECT ILLUSION, THE MALTESE COLLECTION, WINNOWING, MOCOS and FINDING KATE, playing Imperax Galactic Commander Michael Mylo, his son, and the voice of son's best friend. Internationally-awarded actress Sakura Kai (aka Setsuko Tsuchiya) of STATIC 2021, WINNOWING and MOCOS, plays Carol Mylo, wife of Michael and Dominie-in-Grey of the Imperax Galactic, as well as the voice of her friend Prieta. Acclaimed author and screenwriter William Maltese of THE MALTESE COLLECTION plays screenwriter Chad Stuart, and Pam Hoffman provides the Voice of the Imperax Galactic.
